The Joint Registrar plays a pivotal role in the administrative and academic governance of the institution, working closely with the Registrar to ensure efficient operations and adherence to institutional policies and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registrar in the overall administration and management of the institution, including academic affairs, examinations, student services, and general administration.
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of student records, academic transcripts, and other official documents, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Coordinate and manage examination processes, including scheduling, conduct, result processing, and issuance of certificates and degrees.
- Develop, implement, and enforce institutional policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage human resources functions for administrative staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and grievance handling.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and official correspondence for the Registrar, academic council, and other governing bodies.
- Handle legal matters, including drafting legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and liaising with legal counsel when necessary.
