Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and child-friendly Occupational Therapist to join the Cadabams Child Development Center. The role focuses on assessing and supporting children with developmental delays, sensory processing issues, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges. The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance children’s independence, functional abilities, and overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct developmental and functional assessments for children (fine motor, sensory, ADLs, cognitive skills).
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on each child’s needs.
- Provide intervention for:
- Sensory Integration Therapy
- Fine motor skill development
- Handwriting and pre-academic skills
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Work with children with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental delays.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and pediatricians.
- Train parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies.
- Maintain detailed therapy notes, progress reports, and documentation.
- Participate in case discussions, IEP planning, and review meetings.
- Create a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT / MOT).
- Certification or training in Sensory Integration (preferred).
- 0–3 years of experience in pediatric or child development settings.
- Freshers with strong interest in pediatric therapy are encouraged to apply.
