About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design concepts, space planning, materials, and design execution. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts and ensuring projects are executed according to the approved designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, material selections, and design presentations.
- Create and modify 2D/3D drawings and detailed design plans.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
- Conduct site visits and ensure design specifications are followed during execution.
- Prepare working drawings, BOQs, and material specifications when required.
- Coordinate with the execution team to resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed design, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and industry practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Good knowledge of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Strong creativity and visualisation skills.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
