Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Vietnam holistic UX/UI design team, ensuring high-quality design output while fostering team members' professional growth.
- Create and develop the overall design strategy and frameworks, ensuring that they are in line with the business objectives, user insights, product proposition, and brand identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams both in Vietnam and Thailand, including business units, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Lead and plan user research, including field user research, secondary research, and usability testing to understand users' mindsets, perceptions, behaviors, and preferences.
- Review and provide recommendations for UX/UI wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions, incorporating information hierarchy, interaction, visual, motion, and content writing design.
- Ensure user satisfaction throughout the UX/UI design process by utilizing a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative data-driven recommendations for design improvements.
- Establish brand identities and visual design languages for new digital products.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the design team, encouraging a design culture of discussions.
- Define and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
- Understand and deliver international design standards while being able to comprehend and capture the essence of local Vietnamese language, culture, and products.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is desirable.
- At least 15 years of experience as a UX/UI designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects across multiple platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a design team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to portray an unconventional, creative, and innovative thought process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles, UX research methodologies, communication design, human interaction design, and user interface design.
- Proficiency in or understanding of UX/UI-related design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
