We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Sr. Purchase Executive with a strong background in procurement within the electrical manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, vendor coordination, sourcing, purchase planning, and ensuring timely material availability for production and project requirements. Candidates with experience in electrical components, LED lighting materials, electrical panel accessories, and vendor negotiations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for electrical projects, electrical panel manufacturing, and LED lighting materials
- Source vendors and obtain competitive quotations for required materials
- Prepare, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) as per procurement requirements
- Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and project teams for material planning
- Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and supplier contracts
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production or project delays
- Compare quotations and prepare cost comparison statements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with stores
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time deliveries and resolve supply-related issues
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation
- Evaluate vendor performance based on pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards
- Ensure purchased materials meet required specifications and quality expectations
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-ups
- Support management in cost-saving initiatives and strategic sourcing activities
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of procurement and purchase processes
- Experience in electrical industry, LED lighting, or electrical panel manufacturing
- Good technical knowledge of electrical components and materials
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and procurement documentation
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and urgent procurement requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost comparisons
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Supply Chain Management
- Commerce
- Or related field
Preferred:
- Certification in Procurement / Supply Chain Management
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–4 years of procurement experience in electrical manufacturing or related industries
- Experience sourcing electrical materials and industrial components
- Strong supplier negotiation and procurement planning experience
- Immediate joiners or candidates with shorter notice periods preferred
