ROLE OBJECTIVE
Prish Consultancy LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting & Finance Associate (Team Lead) to lead a team of accounting professionals serving UAE-based clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in UAE accounting standards, VAT, Corporate Tax, AML compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring timely and accurate service delivery. This role requires a leader who can effectively manage client portfolios, mentor team members, review financial work, and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance across multiple UAE entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Operational Management Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounting & Finance team.
Allocate client portfolios and monitor workload distribution.
Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and skill development.
Establish KPIs and monitor team productivity.
Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and quality standards. UAE Accounting & Financial Reporting Review complete bookkeeping for UAE-based companies.
Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review General Ledger, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statements.
Review bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations. Ensure financial records comply with IFRS and UAE financial reporting requirements.
Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions. UAE Taxation & Regulatory Compliance Review and supervise UAE VAT return preparation and filing. Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations. Oversee Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) accounting. Review Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) applications. Supervise Transfer Pricing documentation. Ensure AML documentation and compliance requirements are maintained. Stay updated with the latest UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and communicate changes to the team. Client Relationship Management Manage a portfolio of UAE clients across multiple industries. Conduct client meetings and financial review discussions. Understand client requirements and provide practical accounting solutions. Handle escalations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Build long-term professional relationships with clients. Review & Quality Assurance Perform final review of accounting files before client delivery. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards. Review month-end and year-end closing activities. Develop and improve accounting workflows and SOPs. Maintain complete documentation for audit readiness. Financial Analysis & Advisory Prepare management reports and financial insights for clients. Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Assist clients in improving financial controls and reporting processes. Process Improvement Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Standardize accounting practices across client portfolios. Collaborate with internal departments to improve service delivery. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. ACCA (Qualified/Pursuing), CA Inter, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience 3–7 years of hands-on experience in UAE Accounting.
Minimum 1 year of team leadership experience.
Experience working in a CA firm, consultancy, or accounting outsourcing firm serving UAE clients is highly preferred.
