About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Sales & Operations Trainer to train and develop our store teams for a premium saree retail brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail training, sales coaching, customer service, and store operations. You will play a key role in ensuring every team member delivers an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Train store staff on effective sales techniques and customer handling.
- Conduct onboarding and induction training for new employees.
- Coach employees on premium customer service and relationship building.
- Train the team on product knowledge, including fabrics, weaves, saree draping styles, and styling recommendations.
- Develop training modules, SOPs, manuals, and assessment materials.
- Conduct regular refresher training sessions to improve sales performance.
- Train employees on store operations, billing processes, inventory handling, visual merchandising, and store etiquette.
- Monitor staff performance and identify skill gaps through regular evaluations.
- Work closely with store managers to improve team productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards across all stores.
- Motivate and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in retail training, preferably in fashion, apparel, ethnic wear, jewellery, or luxury retail.
- Strong understanding of retail sales, customer psychology, and store operations.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to create engaging training programs and learning materials.
- Confident in conducting classroom as well as on-floor training sessions.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel across store locations whenever required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with premium fashion or luxury retail brands.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and retail excellence.
- Certification in Learning & Development or Retail Training is an added advantage.
