About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager with a strong hospitality background to lead and manage the overall Human Resources function at our hotel property in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling core HR operations while partnering closely with department heads to drive employee engagement, compliance, hiring, and smooth day-to-day HR functioning.
This role is best suited for someone who has previously worked as an HR Manager or Assistant HR Manager in hotels and is comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end hiring for all departments.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and ensure timely closures.
- Conduct joining formalities, induction, documentation, and onboarding.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Maintain positive employee relations across departments.
- Address employee concerns and support grievance handling.
- Plan and execute engagement activities, celebrations, and recognition initiatives.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accuracy of employee data.
- Handle exit formalities, full & final settlements, and relieving documentation.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory compliances, and company policies.
- Maintain discipline, grooming, and workplace standards as per hospitality norms.
- Coordinate with vendors/agencies related to HR and staff requirements whenever required.
Performance & Training
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning sessions for staff.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with unit leadership to support operational manpower requirements.
- Share regular HR MIS and updates with management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is mandatory.
- Experience as HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager in hotels preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and manpower planning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on approach with strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
- Well-versed with labour laws, payroll coordination, and employee engagement practices.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience in hospitality.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
