- Machine Setup: Install tools, fixtures, inserts, and jaws to prepare the VTL for production.
- Production: Responsible to achieve the Production targets within the schedule time.
- Programming & Editing: Read and interpret technical drawings to load, edit, or set up CNC programs for turning, boring, facing, and threading operations.
- Operations: Perform trial runs and fine-tune parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) for accuracy.
- Quality Control: Use verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial gauges to inspect parts in-process to meet specified tolerances.
- Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating heavy machinery and using overhead cranes.
