Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Computer Science
2. Educational Qualification
Candidate must meet eligibility as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) / Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) / State Board norms.
Any one of the following qualifications is preferred:
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
- M.Sc. Computer Science / Information Technology
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT with B.Ed.
- M.Tech in Computer Science / IT
- B.Sc. Computer Science + M.Sc. Computer Science + B.Ed.
3. Experience (Preferred)
- 2–5 years teaching experience in Senior Secondary Classes (XI–XII).
- Experience teaching Python, C++, SQL, and database concepts as per board syllabus.
4. Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science / Informatics Practices to Classes XI and XII.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises.
- Conduct computer lab sessions and programming practice.
- Teach programming languages like Python, C++, SQL, and data structures basics.
- Evaluate students through tests, projects, and practical exams.
- Guide students for board exams and computer projects.
- Maintain computer lab equipment and software.
5. Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of programming and computer fundamentals.
- Familiarity with operating systems, networking basics, and databases.
- Ability to use smart classroom technology and online teaching tools.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
