Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil QC Engineer with extensive knowledge of MoRTH Specifications, IRC Codes, and highway construction quality control procedures. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems for highway projects.
- Thorough understanding and application of latest MoRTH Specifications, IRC Codes, and contract requirements.
- Review Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Manuals.
- Conduct and supervise field and laboratory testing of:
- Earthwork
- GSB
- WMM
- DBM
- BC
- Concrete works
- Structures and drainage works
- Ensure compliance with density, gradation, compaction, bitumen content, concrete strength, and other quality parameters.
- Monitor asphalt plant and concrete batching plant quality control operations.
- Verify source approvals and quality of aggregates, bitumen, cement, steel, and other materials.
- Coordinate with Independent Engineer, Authority Engineer, Consultants, and Client representatives.
- Maintain quality records, test registers, NCRs, corrective actions, and monthly quality reports.
- Review mix designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
- Train site personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of highway project QC experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- MoRTH Specifications (Latest Revision)
- IRC Codes
- IS Codes relevant to highways and structures
- Experience in handling NABL-accredited laboratory tests preferred.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

- Asphalt Mix Design (Marshall/Superpave)
- Concrete Mix Design
- Pavement Investigation and Quality Monitoring
- Material Testing and Laboratory Management
- AutoCAD and MS Excel proficiency
- Good documentation and reporting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
