Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (2+ Years Experience)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will handle cost management, measurement, and contractual documentation while maintaining excellent communication with our clients. If you have a solid grasp of AutoCAD and Excel, and excel at managing client relationships with high English proficiency, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation & Measurement: Take off quantities and prepare accurate material take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing queries, presenting cost reports, and handling variations smoothly.
- Software Utilization: Use MS Excel for complex cost breakdowns, budget tracking, and data analysis; utilize AutoCAD for verifying measurements and reviewing project drawings.
- Tendering & Contracts: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and contract variations. verify subcontractor invoices, and prepare progress payment applications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Residential and Commercial Interior Projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, data formatting, budget templates).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD (navigating drawings, verifying scales, measuring dimensions).
- Language Skills: Strong professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for clear reporting and client correspondence.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability in client handling, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
