Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project accounts using Tally.
- Maintain cash book, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare monthly trial balances, cash flow statements, and fortnightly expenditure reports.
- Maintain salary, leave, asset, stock, and beneficiary registers.
- Process purchase orders and maintain financial records in accordance with organizational systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file GST returns, maintain GST records, reconcile input tax credit, and ensure compliance with applicable GST regulations.
- Prepare accounts and supporting documents for quarterly audits and Income Tax submissions.
- Coordinate with the Financial Controller and project team on financial matters.
- Visit project locations to verify proper utilization of project funds and interact with beneficiaries.
- Ensure timely fund requisitions, budget compliance, and adherence to approved accounting procedures.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and GST compliance and return filing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in NGO/project accounting will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
