ob Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing and medical care to patients in their homes on a live-in basis.
The nurse will stay at the patient's residence and be responsible for delivering all required nursing, clinical, and patient-care services as per the patient's medical condition and the instructions of the treating doctor and healthcare team.
This position is strictly for professional nursing and patient-care responsibilities. The nurse will not be required to perform domestic, household, or non-medical duties.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Nursing Services
- Provide professional and continuous nursing care to the patient in the home.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments as per doctor's instructions and nursing protocols.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, stoma care, feeding tube care, and other required nursing procedures.
- Assist in managing patients with chronic illnesses, post-operative conditions, disabilities, and other medical conditions.
- Monitor the patient's overall health condition and identify any changes or warning signs.
- Provide emergency first aid and take appropriate action during medical emergencies.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, vital charts, and patient-care documentation.
- Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.
- Educate and guide family members regarding the patient's medical care when required.
Clinical Monitoring & Reporting
- Observe and report changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the concerned doctor or healthcare supervisor.
- Maintain proper communication with the Home Care Coordinator and clinical team.
- Attend and participate in medical reviews or care discussions when required.
- Prepare and submit patient-care reports as per company policy.
- Ensure timely escalation of medical emergencies or complications.
Patient Support
- Assist the patient with medically necessary mobility, positioning, and transfers.
- Support the patient with activities directly related to their health and medical care.
- Ensure the patient's comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety at all times.
- Provide compassionate emotional support within the professional scope of nursing practice.
IMPORTANT: Scope of Work
The Live-In Registered Nurse is responsible only for nursing, clinical, and patient-related healthcare services.
The Nurse Will NOT Be Responsible For:
- Cooking or food preparation for the family.
- Cleaning the house or performing housekeeping duties.
- Washing clothes or other household laundry.
- Cleaning utensils or performing kitchen work.
- Grocery shopping or other personal errands for family members.
- Caring for other family members.
- Driving or transportation duties unrelated to patient care.
- Any domestic, maid, servant, or household management responsibilities.
The patient's family is expected to arrange separate domestic support for housekeeping and household-related requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Nursing Council.
- Previous experience in home healthcare, hospital nursing, ICU, emergency care, medical-surgical nursing, or elderly care will be preferred.
- Knowledge of basic and advanced nursing procedures relevant to home healthcare.
- BLS/CPR certification will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
