Accountant – Jewellery Shop
Location: Chennai
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Salary: As per industry standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain financial records
- Manage billing, invoices, receipts, and payment entries
- Maintain purchase and sales records of gold, silver, and jewellery items
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other tax-related documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Maintain stock and inventory records along with accounts
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Handle vendor payments and customer account details
- Ensure accuracy in accounting data and documentation
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in jewellery industry preferred
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
