Job Title : Field Sales Executive

Location : Outstation / Out-of-City Markets (e.g., Mumbai and other cities as assigned)
Employment Type : Full-Time
Travel Requirement : Frequent outstation travel — typically 2–3 days per trip, based on business requirement
2.2 Purpose of the Role
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for expanding Rasmadhuri Sweets and Snacks (Mithdi) into new outstation markets by directly meeting buyers, distributors, and retail customers in other cities. The role focuses on market development, relationship-building, and driving sales growth outside the home city/base location.
2.3 Key Responsibilities
A. Market Development
- Travel to assigned outstation cities (e.g., Mumbai and other target markets) to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Map the local market — identify potential buyers, distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets for Rasmadhuri Sweets and Snacks (Mithdi) products.
- Build a strong market presence for the brand in new cities through consistent visits and relationship-building.
- Identify region-specific demand patterns and share market intelligence with the sales/marketing team.
B. Customer & Buyer Visits
- Conduct in-person meetings with buyers, distributors, and retail customers to present the product range and pricing.
- Understand customer requirements and negotiate orders within approved commercial terms.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers to ensure repeat business.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and product feedback on-ground and escalate as needed.
C. Sales Execution
- Achieve assigned sales targets for outstation/out-of-city markets.
- Generate new orders and follow up on payment collection as per company credit policy.
- Ensure proper distribution and availability of products at retail/wholesale points in the assigned market.
- Coordinate with the logistics/supply team to ensure timely delivery of orders to outstation buyers.
D. Travel & Trip Management
- Undertake outstation trips of 2–3 days (or as required by business need) to cover assigned cities and markets.
- Plan travel itineraries efficiently to maximize the number of buyer/customer visits per trip.
- Submit trip plans in advance and daily visit reports during travel.
- Manage travel expenses within company policy and submit accurate expense/travel reports.
E. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily/weekly sales call reports, visit logs, and new-market development updates.
- Report competitor activity, pricing trends, and market feedback from outstation visits to management.
- Coordinate with the HR/admin team for travel bookings, and with the sales team for order processing and dispatch.
- Participate in periodic sales review meetings and share market development progress.
2.4 Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; background in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG, food, or sweets/snacks industry.
- Prior experience in outstation/out-of-city market development is an advantage.
2.5 Key Skills
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (2–3 days per trip, multiple trips per month as required).
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English; knowledge of the local language of target markets (e.g., Marathi for Mumbai) is an advantage.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently while traveling.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/reporting tools for sales reporting.
- Physical readiness for travel and market fieldwork.
2.6 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly/quarterly sales achievement in assigned outstation markets.
- Number of new buyers/distributors/retail outlets onboarded per market visit.
- Market coverage — number of cities/areas developed as per plan.
- Payment collection efficiency and adherence to credit terms.
- Quality and timeliness of visit reports and market feedback submitted.
2.7 Working Conditions
- Extensive outstation travel required — typically 2–3 days per trip to cities such as Mumbai and others, as per company requirement.
- Fieldwork involving direct buyer/customer meetings, market visits, and travel across assigned regions.
- Travel and daily allowance as per company policy.
Pay: ₹10,508.48 - ₹25,000.00 per month
