Description:
ELK Engineer
The L2 DevOps Support Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining production, UAT, and non-production environments. The role focuses on incident resolution, infrastructure monitoring, CI/CD pipeline support, cloud operations, security compliance, automation, and ensuring high availability of applications and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
-
Provide L2 support for DevOps platforms and business-critical applications.

Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests within agreed SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
-
Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
CI/CD & Automation
-
Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
-
Assist development teams in deployment activities and release management.
-
Implement automation scripts to reduce manual operational tasks.
Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
-
Manage and support cloud environments (AWS / Azure).
-
Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance, availability, and costs.
-
Maintain Kubernetes/EKS/AKS clusters and containerized workloads.
-
Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
Security & Compliance

Perform patching and vulnerability remediation activities.
-
Manage SSL certificates, secrets, and access permissions.
-
Review and maintain firewall, security group, and network access configurations.
-
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
Monitoring & Observability

Monitor applications and infrastructure using ELK, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or similar tools.

Configure dashboards, alerts, and health checks.
-
Analyze logs and performance metrics to identify issues proactively.
Documentation & Process Improvement

Maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.

Support audit and compliance requirements.
Required Technical Skills

Preferred Qualifications
