Job Summary
- Design, program, wire, test, and commission industrial automation systems.
- Develop PLC/HMI programs and troubleshoot automation systems.
- Support panel assembly, machine commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Assemble and wire PLC control panels.
- Perform field wiring for sensors, motors, and instruments.
- Develop PLC and HMI/SCADA programs.
- Configure industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
- Test, commission, and troubleshoot automation systems.
- Perform retrofit, maintenance, and logic modifications.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and panel wiring.
Technical Skills
- PLCs: Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi.
- Knowledge of VFDs, Servo Drives, Sensors, and Safety Relays.
- AutoCAD Electrical; EPLAN is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under project deadlines.
