About the Role
Zero Space Furniture is a UAE-based furniture and interior fit-out company with a back-office team in Edappal, Malappuram.
We are looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman – Furniture to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate furniture drawings, client approval drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and production details for our UAE-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed furniture shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare client approval drawings for customized furniture.
- Prepare furniture floor layouts and furniture layouts.
- Create detailed elevation and section drawings.
- Prepare technical drawings for customized office and commercial furniture.
- Develop furniture details based on project requirements and measurements.
- Include accurate dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details.
- Prepare production drawings and cut lists when required.
- Create or modify 3D furniture models using SketchUp or other suitable 3D modeling software.
- Revise drawings based on client comments and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the design, sales, and production teams.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for manufacturing.
- Maintain proper drawing files and project documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in furniture drafting, detailing, or technical drawing.
- Good understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing.
- Ability to prepare shop drawings and detailed technical drawings.
- Ability to understand dimensions, measurements, materials, hardware, and construction methods.
- Experience with any 3D modeling software is preferred.
- SketchUp knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in custom furniture manufacturing.
- Experience with office furniture or commercial furniture projects.
- Experience preparing furniture shop drawings and production drawings.
- Experience with cut list preparation.
- Experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Experience working on UAE-based projects is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
