We are looking for a Technical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure across all MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools & Junior Colleges (VGS Group) campuses in Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of DG sets, transformers, UPS, STP, RO plants, heat pumps, softeners, pumps & motors, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Supervise facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, flooring, locks, and minor repairs.
- Manage maintenance schedules, service records, equipment inventory, vendor coordination, and statutory compliance.
- Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Support fire safety systems, emergency response, and technical audits.
- Conduct regular site visits across all VGS campuses.
- Maintain records of inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Track material consumption and report shortages
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
- Conduct safety briefings and training for the unit MST team.
- Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures.
- Material utilization and wastage control.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or related engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in technical maintenance, facility management..
- Knowledge of electrical systems, utilities, and preventive maintenance.
- Good communication, reporting, and vendor management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
