Position Title: Project Manager / Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Quality Assurance Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of data center and fiber infrastructure projects for Amazon Data Services. The role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, quality assurance, reporting, contractor management, and compliance oversight to ensure successful project delivery within schedule, budget, and Amazon quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact between Amazon representatives and internal project teams.
- Coordinate with construction contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Escalate project issues and risks proactively to Amazon representatives.
- Manage dependencies across Civil Construction, Cable Installation, Fiber Splicing, Testing, and Health & Safety activities.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon communication protocols and regulatory requirements.
2. Planning, Scheduling & Project Monitoring
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Gantt charts.
- Monitor project progress across Civil, Cable Installation, Splicing, Fiber Testing, and Project Completion stages.
- Track milestones and identify schedule deviations.
- Escalate delays and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
3. Project Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
- Maintain project dashboards and ensure accurate reporting in MS Excel and MS Project.
- Generate performance reports, project analytics, and deployment progress updates.
- Maintain complete project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Team Management & Quality Assurance
- Lead and supervise Quality Assurance Inspectors and field teams.
- Ensure daily site inspections and timely submission of field reports.
- Monitor workmanship quality and compliance with Amazon Construction Standards.
- Arrange replacement resources whenever required to maintain project continuity.
5. Quality Control & Technical Oversight
- Review construction quality, structured cabling installation, fiber splicing, and testing activities.
- Evaluate as-built drawings and documentation.
- Review Fiber Testing Reports and identify project discrepancies.
- Conduct physical project walk-throughs with Amazon representatives whenever required.
6. Project Closeout
- Coordinate Ready for Service (RFS) submissions.
- Compile and submit final project documentation, including as-built drawings and fiber testing reports.
- Conduct project closeout meetings with contractors and Amazon stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and project completion reports.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Amazon standards, EHS guidelines, and local statutory regulations.
- Ensure all project personnel complete mandatory background verification and required compliance checks.
- Monitor contractor adherence to safety and quality procedures.
8. Resource & Financial Management
- Ensure delivery of the contractual minimum of 24 service days per month.
- Monitor project manpower utilization.
- Manage travel, accommodation, and project expenses within approved budgets.
- Support cost control initiatives and prevent billing penalties.
Required Skills
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience.
- Experience in Data Center, Fiber Optic, or Structured Cabling projects.
- Knowledge of Civil Construction coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
- Strong scheduling and planning using Gantt Charts.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and project reporting.
- Knowledge of Fiber Testing, Splicing, and As-Built Documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Civil, or related discipline).
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Project Management, Quality Assurance, Telecom Infrastructure, Data Center, or Fiber Network Deployment projects.
- Experience working with hyperscale data center clients such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, or similar organizations is preferred.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
