Job Title: Academic Counsellor
Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday working, 1 weekday off)
Location: Ghaziabad
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Academic Counsellor who will manage bothwalk-in (offline) and online student inquiries. The role involves counselling students and parentsvisiting the centre, as well as handling leads via calls and other channels to drive admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel walk-in students and parents at the centre regarding courses, programs, and career paths
Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship building
Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups, and cold calling
Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions
Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure
Update and manage lead data in CRM systems
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in student counselling/admissions or similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in face-to-face counselling is highly preferred
Comfortable with cold calling and handling online leads
Target-oriented with a strong ability to convert leads
Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage
