About The Open Room
The Open Room is an architecture studio integrated with an EdTech platform, bringing together design, research, and learning. We work across architecture, interiors, visualization, and academic initiatives, creating meaningful spaces and experiences.
We're looking for a passionate Junior Architect who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow with a fast-moving creative team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in architectural design and project development.
- Prepare concept drawings, working drawings, and presentation sheets.
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Create architectural visualizations and client presentations.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and site teams.
- Participate in site visits and monitor project progress.
- Support material selection, documentation, and BOQs.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- 0–2 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or similar visualization software.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred
- Experience in residential, commercial, or interior projects.
- Knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
