Core Responsibilities
- Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lectures, conduct demonstrations, and lead hands-on laboratory or cadaveric dissection sessions.
- Research & Scholarship: Conduct independent or collaborative research in biomedical sciences, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and apply for academic grants.
- Student Mentorship: Guide medical and allied health students, assist with research methodologies, and provide career and academic advising.
- Curriculum & Assessment: Develop syllabi, prepare lesson plans, and design or grade examinations.
- Institutional Service: Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development, and institutional committees.
Qualifications
- Education: Typically requires a postgraduate medical degree (MD in Anatomy) or a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Anatomy.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching at the university level or completion of postdoctoral fellowships is generally expected.
