Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Data Entry & Pre-Alert Executive to support our UK logistics operations. The role involves managing shipment pre-alerts, entering logistics booking information into UK HMRC-related software, maintaining accurate records, and preparing basic MIS reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process pre-alerts for logistics shipments.
- Enter shipment and booking information accurately into logistics and UK HMRC-related software.
- Verify shipping documents and identify missing or incorrect information.
- Update shipment status and maintain accurate booking records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, agents, and overseas offices when required.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Track pending documentation and follow up with the relevant teams.
- Handle shipment data confidentially and follow company procedures.
- Complete assigned work within operational deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or customs documentation is preferred.
- Good computer and data-entry skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
- Basic understanding of MIS reporting.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to work flexible India and UK shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Freshers with suitable computer skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in logistics data entry, shipment pre-alerts, freight forwarding, or customs operations.
- Familiarity with UK HMRC systems or customs-related logistics software would be an advantage.
Employment Requirements
- This is a work-from-office position.
- Candidates should be able to commute to Bilekahalli, BTM 4th Stage, Bengaluru.
- Flexibility to work India and UK business hours is mandatory.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
