Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – Modern Trade to manage and grow key modern trade accounts such as Reliance and D-Mart.
The role involves driving sales performance, executing joint business plans, ensuring strong in-store execution, and building long-term retailer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned Modern Trade key accounts (e.g., Reliance, D-Mart).
- Drive sales volumes and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key retailers.
- Plan and implement promotions, visibility initiatives, and in-store activations.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
- Handle commercial negotiations, purchase orders (POs), and claims management.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution and supply alignment.
- Analyse sales data, trends, and performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer stakeholders.
Required Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling Modern Trade FMCG accounts.
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Hands-on experience with POs, claims, and retailer coordination.
- Ability to analyse sales data and convert insights into action plans.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Target-driven with a proactive approach.
Education
- PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred)
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
