Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant with strong expertise in SAP APO PPDS and/or SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS. The candidate will be responsible for solution design, configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of production planning and detailed scheduling processes across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and design SAP PPDS solutions.
Configure and support:
Production Planning
Detailed Scheduling
Capacity Planning
Sequencing
Order Planning
Heuristic Planning
Product View Management
Support end-to-end PPDS implementations, enhancements, and AMS engagements.
Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams.
Configure and support planning strategies, planning procedures, resource planning, and scheduling profiles.
Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend industry best practices.
Conduct SIT, UAT, cutover, and hyper-care support activities.Support production issues and continuous process improvements.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and integrations.
