Job Opening: Welding & Electrical Tools Maintenance Engineer

Pooja Enterprises is hiring a Welding & Electrical Tools Maintenance Engineer for its factory/workshop operations at Saraswati Industrial Complex, Ankurhati. We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on candidate with solid experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical tools, workshop machines, and welding machines with accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, service, and maintain factory/workshop electrical tools and tackles
- Diagnose and repair grinding machines, cutting machines, drill machines, and similar portable electrical tools
- Repair and troubleshoot welding machines and related accessories such as welding holders, cables, connectors, clamps, and allied electrical fittings
- Identify faults in motors, switches, cables, wiring, sockets, and machine electrical components
- Attend breakdowns quickly and ensure minimum machine downtime
- Carry out preventive maintenance of tools, welding equipment, and electrical workshop machinery
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper running condition for uninterrupted production work
- Monitor recurring faults and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate spare parts requirement for repair and replacement of damaged electrical items
- Ensure safe electrical operation of tools, cables, plugs, and workshop equipment
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / ITI / technical background in Electrical / Maintenance / Electrical Engineering
- Strong practical experience in maintenance and repair of electrical tools and welding equipment
- Must be well-versed in repairing:
- Grinding machines
- Cutting machines
- Drill machines
- Welding machines
- Welding machine accessories and related electrical items
- Good hands-on troubleshooting ability in workshop/factory electrical equipment
- Prior experience in steel fabrication / engineering / manufacturing / industrial workshop will be preferred
- Candidate should be responsible, practical, and capable of independently handling maintenance jobs on the shop floor
Preferred Experience
- Experience in electrical maintenance in a fabrication, steel, engineering, or manufacturing setup
- Knowledge of welding machine servicing and repair
- Familiarity with industrial electrical safety and machine upkeep
