Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing high-quality seafood dishes, maintaining food quality standards, and managing seafood kitchen operations while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of seafood dishes as per hotel standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, quality, and portion control
- Select, clean, store, and handle seafood products according to food safety standards
- Develop and innovate seafood menu items and specialties
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and seafood procurement requirements
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
- Expertise in fish, shellfish, grills, curries, and coastal cuisine
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
- Teamwork, time management, and organizational skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–8 years of experience in seafood kitchen operations
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in hotels, resorts, seafood restaurants, beachside properties, or fine-dining establishments
- Knowledge of Goan, Coastal, Continental, and International seafood cuisines
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
