Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales, developing new customers, maintaining relationships with distributors and industrial clients, and achieving sales targets across the Mumbai region. The role requires regular field visits, market development activities, and technical sales support for welding consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Mumbai region.
- Visit fabricators, engineering companies, contractors, OEMs, dealers, and industrial customers.
- Promote and sell welding electrodes, flux-cored wires, MIG/TIG wires, and related products.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and end users.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by management.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, and market feedback reports.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
- Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams for order execution and customer support.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, product launches, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (10+2, Any Graduate Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical, Welding, Metallurgy, or Engineering preferred).
- 1–5 years of sales experience in welding consumables, industrial products, engineering products, or related sectors.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to travel may also be considered.
Skills Required
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of welding products and industrial applications is preferred.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, Email).
