Bodyshop Advisor – Krishna Honda
The Bodyshop Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with vehicle body repair and accident repair requirements while ensuring a smooth and professional service experience. The role involves vehicle inspection, damage assessment, repair estimation, insurance coordination, and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
Attend customers and understand vehicle repair requirements
Inspect vehicles and assess accident or body repair damages
Prepare repair estimates and explain repair procedures to customers
Coordinate with insurance companies for claim processing and approvals
Create and maintain job cards and repair documentation
Monitor repair progress and provide regular updates to customers
Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely repairs
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the repair process
Handle customer concerns and provide effective solutions
Ensure timely delivery of repaired vehicles with complete customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of repairs, estimates, and insurance claims
Follow dealership policies, safety guidelines, and operational standards
Requirements
Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline
Experience in automobile bodyshop operations is preferred
Knowledge of vehicle body repair processes and insurance claim procedures
Strong communication and customer handling skills
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office
Good coordination and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a customer-focused environment
Candidates with experience in automotive dealerships and bodyshop operations will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of bodyshop operations, repair processes, and insurance procedures.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to prepare accurate estimates and explain technical issues clearlyBasic computer knowledge (DMS, MS Office).
Qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in bodyshop/insurance-related roles (automobile industry preferred).
