About the Role
Bhuta Shah & Co. LLP is looking for a skilled and proactive Network & Hardware Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure across multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, networking, firewall and VPN management, endpoint security, IT asset management, and user support.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure user productivity.
- Manage and monitor IT assets across Pan-India locations, including asset allocation, tracking, maintenance, and documentation.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routers, switches, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, security policies, access controls, and departmental network rules.
- Establish, configure, and troubleshoot VPN connections for secure remote access and work-from-home users.
- Prepare and maintain VPN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting SOPs.
- Monitor network traffic and restrict malicious, harmful, unauthorized, or inappropriate URLs as required.
- Administer and maintain Ubiquiti Access Points (APs) across the Head Office and Manufacturing Lab.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV/video surveillance systems across multiple centers.
- Manage Quick Heal Seqrite Antivirus, including endpoint configuration, security policies, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Perform and monitor regular data backup activities and ensure backup availability as per organizational requirements.
- Develop and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect confidential and organizational data.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, network configurations, troubleshooting activities, installations, and support tasks using Google Sheets or other IT documentation tools.
- Provide timely technical support to users and coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Monitor IT infrastructure proactively and identify potential issues before they affect business operations.
- Assist in maintaining IT security, compliance, and infrastructure documentation.
- Contribute to improving IT support processes, reducing resolution time, and strengthening overall IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Network Administration, Hardware Support, and IT Infrastructure Support.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, network security, and access-control policies.
- Experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Quick Heal Seqrite Antivirus and endpoint security solutions is preferred.
- Understanding of data backup, DLP, CCTV, and IT asset management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with users, internal departments, vendors, and service providers.
- Good documentation and reporting skills, including working with Google Sheets/Excel.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting multiple offices/locations or a Pan-India IT environment.
- Experience in a CA firm, professional services organization, manufacturing environment, or similar corporate setup will be an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent will be beneficial.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
