The Service Manager is responsible for managing the complete workshop operations of the automobile dealership/service center. The role includes ensuring high customer satisfaction, achieving service revenue targets, improving workshop productivity, maintaining quality standards, and leading the service team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the automobile service workshop.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and timely vehicle delivery.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and manpower utilization.
- Achieve service revenue, labor sales, and spare parts targets.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure quick resolution.
- Coordinate with technicians, service advisors, and spare parts department.
- Monitor quality control and maintain manufacturer standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings and technical training programs.
- Ensure proper implementation of warranty policies and procedures.
- Maintain service records, MIS reports, and workshop documentation.
- Improve customer retention and repeat business.
- Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and discipline in the workshop.
- Track vehicle turnaround time (TAT) and reduce delays.
- Support business growth through service campaigns and customer follow-ups.

Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- MBA is an added advantage
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in automobile service operations
- Prior experience as Assistant Service Manager / Workshop Manager preferred
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
