- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as per the service schedule.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and transmission faults.
- Service diesel, LPG, and electric forklifts.
- Inspect brakes, steering, mast, chains, forks, tyres, batteries, motors, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controllers, sensors, and wiring.
- Replace defective parts and components.
- Conduct breakdown maintenance at customer sites.
- Prepare service reports, job cards, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain service tools and workshop equipment.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department for required components.
- Provide technical guidance to forklift operators regarding safe equipment operation.
- Follow company SOPs and safety regulations during servicing and repairs.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or Diesel Mechanic.
- Certification in forklift or material handling equipment maintenance is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in forklift, heavy equipment, or automobile service.
- Experience with electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
