Position Overview
Phorm & Flight is looking for a skilled and creative Sound Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and optimizing audio for a variety of projects, including advertisements, promotional videos, podcasts, social media content, corporate productions, and other multimedia campaigns.
The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality sound experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, edit, mix, and master audio for various media productions.
- Ensure high-quality sound output for videos, advertisements, podcasts, interviews, and other content.
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio recording equipment and studio systems.
- Perform audio cleanup, noise reduction, and sound enhancement.
- Collaborate with creative, video production, and marketing teams to achieve project objectives.
- Manage audio files, backups, and project documentation efficiently.
- Troubleshoot technical audio issues during recording and post-production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in audio production.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or Certification in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, Music Technology, Media Production, or a related field.
- Proficiency in audio editing and production software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of audio recording techniques, mixing, mastering, and sound design.
- Knowledge of microphones, audio interfaces, mixers, and studio equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team.
- Previous experience in audio production is preferred.
