Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and patient-focused Counsellor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and support to patients and their families, helping them understand treatment plans, address concerns, and maintain a positive healthcare experience throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, recovery expectations, and hospital services.
- Build strong relationships with patients to ensure a positive and supportive experience.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective patient care.
- Address patient concerns, grievances, and queries in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Assist patients with admission, discharge, and follow-up processes when required.
- Educate patients about treatment options, rehabilitation programs, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient interaction records and reports.
- Support hospital outreach programs, patient engagement initiatives, and awareness campaigns.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, or a related field.
- Prior experience in patient counseling, healthcare coordination, customer service, or hospital administration preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

- Knowledge of healthcare services and patient care procedures.
