Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Clinical Dietitian with prior hospital experience to provide nutritional assessment, diet planning, and counselling for patients. The candidate will work closely with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and recovery through appropriate nutritional interventions.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' nutritional requirements and prepare individualised diet plans.
- Provide nutritional counselling to inpatients and outpatients.
- Plan and monitor therapeutic diets for patients with various medical conditions.
- Review medical history, laboratory reports, and treatment plans to recommend suitable nutrition interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify diet plans as required.
- Educate patients and families on healthy dietary practices and lifestyle modifications.
Hospital Coordination:
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding patient nutrition plans.
- Participate in patient care discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Coordinate with kitchen and food service teams to ensure accurate meal preparation and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate patient records, diet charts, and nutritional assessments.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Support audits and quality initiatives through proper record maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition.
- Minimum 2–5 years of hospital experience as a Dietitian.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet planning.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management systems.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
