Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive PR Associate / PR Consultant to manage client relationships, execute public relations campaigns, build strong media networks, and create impactful content. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, media relations experience, strong writing abilities, and the capability to manage multiple client accounts while ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Servicing & Account Management
- Develop monthly PR strategies and campaign plans aligned with client objectives.
- Participate in client briefing meetings and prepare action plans based on project requirements.
- Coordinate daily with client Point of Contact (POC) to ensure smooth execution of all PR activities.
- Prepare and present:
- Monthly PR Plans
- Monthly Performance Reports
- Six-Month Review Presentations
- Maintain proper documentation and archive all client-related reports, content, presentations, and communication records.
2. PR Campaign Execution
Media Relations
- Identify and engage relevant media platforms across:
- Print Media
- Digital Media
- Online Publications
- Influencers
- Industry Events
- Conduct media mapping to identify suitable opportunities based on client requirements.
- Pitch:
- Press Releases
- Interviews
- Feature Stories
- Authored Articles
- Expert Quotes
- Respond to media queries and proactively manage potential negative publicity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media professionals.
- Monitor media trends and provide timely media intelligence to clients.
Content Development
- Draft and edit high-quality:
- Press Releases
- Media Pitches
- Articles
- Opinion Pieces
- Quotes
- Email Communications
- PR Notes
- Ensure content aligns with client messaging and brand guidelines.
Reporting
- Prepare monthly campaign reports highlighting media coverage, campaign performance, and key achievements.
- Track deliverables and campaign progress against agreed objectives.
3. Internal Coordination & Process Management
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets as assigned.
- Participate actively in internal review meetings, brainstorming sessions, and planning discussions.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Maintain prompt communication and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Follow internal processes, documentation standards, and reporting formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong content writing and editing capabilities.
- Good networking and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of media landscape and influencer ecosystem.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
