Job Summary
The Swimming Pool Cleaner / Pool Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and operational condition of the swimming pool and surrounding areas. The role includes pool cleaning, water quality monitoring, equipment upkeep, and ensuring a safe and pleasant swimming environment for guests, students, staff, and visitors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSwimming Pool Maintenance
- Clean the swimming pool daily by removing debris, leaves, dirt, and unwanted particles from the water surface and pool floor.
- Ensure pool walls, tiles, filters, skimmers, and drains are cleaned and maintained regularly.
- Vacuum, brush, and maintain the swimming pool as per scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of poolside areas, deck, furniture, and changing spaces.
Water Quality Management
- Regularly check and maintain pool water quality, including chlorine, pH levels, and water clarity.
- Add and monitor pool chemicals as instructed to ensure hygiene and compliance with safety standards.
- Report any abnormalities in water condition immediately.
Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure proper functioning of pool pumps, filters, motors, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs or servicing of pool systems when required.
- Maintain pool cleaning tools and equipment in proper condition.
Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure the swimming pool area remains safe, clean, and hazard-free at all times.
- Identify and report any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns.
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety protocols related to pool operations.
General Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining overall appearance and cleanliness of the pool surroundings.
- Coordinate during events or activities involving pool usage when required.
- Be available for emergency cleaning or maintenance support if necessary.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of pool cleaning, water treatment, and maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of handling pool chemicals safely.
- Attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors.
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
Qualification & Experience
- Basic education preferred.
- Prior experience in swimming pool maintenance, resort, hotel, or facility upkeep will be an advantage.
- Freshers willing to learn may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
