Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Technician to support electrical maintenance activities in an industrial environment. The candidate will assist senior technicians in preventive and breakdown maintenance, motor and panel inspection, cable work, and basic troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Support inspection, cleaning, and connection checking of motors.
- Assist with MCC/PCC panel inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Assist senior technicians in basic VFD and PLC-related activities.
- Perform cable laying, dressing, glanding, and termination assistance.
- Use basic electrical tools and instruments such as multimeter and clamp meter.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Maintain basic maintenance records, checklists, and service documentation.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, including PPE, electrical isolation, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).
- Support the maintenance team in day-to-day electrical and field maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- ITI – Electrical / Electrician Trade.
- 0–2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of:
- Motors
- Cables
- Switches
- Contactors
- Relays
- Basic understanding of VFD and PLC systems.
- Familiarity with multimeter, clamp meter, and basic electrical hand tools.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical safety practices.
- Ability to work around industrial equipment and perform field maintenance activities.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior technicians.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Freshers with relevant ITI qualification may also be considered.
- Candidates with basic industrial maintenance exposure will be preferred.
- Good teamwork, discipline, safety awareness, and willingness to work in a plant environment are essential.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
