Senior Software Tester / Senior QA Engineer

Experience: 4–7 years
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester to ensure the quality of our web applications, mobile applications and SaaS platforms. The candidate will be responsible for test planning, functional testing, API testing, defect reporting, regression testing and release validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements and prepare test cases and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Test web applications across browsers and mobile applications on Android and iOS.
- Test REST APIs using Postman.
- Validate database records, reports and exported data using basic SQL.
- Identify, document and track defects until closure.
- Perform smoke and sanity testing after deployment.
- Coordinate with developers, Project Managers and clients.
- Guide junior testers and improve QA processes.
- Ensure critical defects are resolved before release.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manual software testing.
- Experience in web and mobile application testing.
- API testing experience using Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Jira, ClickUp or similar defect-management tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Appium.
- Experience testing payment gateways, CRM systems, SaaS applications or third-party integrations.
- Experience leading or mentoring junior QA team members.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive and capable of taking ownership of product and release quality.
Pay: ₹428,379.27 - ₹1,767,828.51 per year
