- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical systems and equipment within the hospital premises.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas such as Operation Theatre (OT), ICU, NICU, Emergency Department, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Radiology.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical panels, distribution boards, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting systems, and electrical fixtures.
- Monitor and maintain Diesel Generator (DG) sets, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), UPS systems, batteries, and power backup equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of transformers, electrical panels, earthing systems, and lightning protection systems.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly and restore services with minimal downtime.
- Replace defective electrical components, cables, circuit breakers, fuses, and lighting fixtures as required.
- Maintain proper functioning of hospital lighting, emergency lighting, exit signs, and power outlets.
- Coordinate with external service providers for maintenance and repair of electrical equipment when required.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, repairs, electrical inspections, and equipment service history.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, hospital policies, and statutory regulations.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices while carrying out electrical maintenance.
- Support installation and electrical connectivity for new medical equipment and hospital infrastructure.
- Assist during hospital accreditation inspections by maintaining electrical maintenance records and ensuring compliance.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving measures to improve efficiency.
- Keep tools, electrical equipment, and maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Respond immediately to emergency electrical failures during day, night, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments for uninterrupted hospital operations.
- Report unsafe electrical conditions immediately and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Management.
Pay: ₹8,338.83 - ₹20,000.00 per month
