Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily fleet operations, coordinate deliveries, and ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics. The ideal candidate should be organized, possess good communication skills, and be capable of coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate daily delivery tasks and dispatch vehicles based on delivery priority and load capacity.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes across Kochi and surrounding areas to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics documentation, including:
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Inspection Logs
- Delivery Challans
- Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Track shipments from production to final delivery and ensure on-time dispatch.
- Coordinate daily with drivers, courier services, transport agencies, and vendors for pickups and deliveries.
- Negotiate transportation rates and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate dispatch and stock records.
- Update shipment logs and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
- 0–2 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, fleet coordination, or supply chain operations.
- Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong route planning and fleet coordination skills.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
