Job Summary
World Passport is seeking an experienced and strategic Country Head (Study Abroad) to lead international admissions operations, counseling excellence, and business growth across multiple study destinations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of at least five major study abroad destinations and be capable of driving student recruitment, team performance, university partnerships, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee study abroad operations for multiple international destinations.
- Provide expert guidance on admissions, visa processes, scholarships, and education pathways.
- Manage and support counselors, senior counselors, and team leads to achieve enrollment targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase student recruitment and conversion rates.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and admission outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with international universities, institutions, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with university requirements, admission procedures, and documentation standards.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Oversee CRM management, reporting systems, and student data accuracy.
- Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and management updates using CRM, Google Sheets, and Excel.
- Conduct training and knowledge development programs for counseling teams.
- Support marketing campaigns, seminars, webinars, and student engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Master's Degree is preferred
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Expert knowledge of at least five (5) major study destinations, including admission and visa processes.
- Strong understanding of international education systems and student recruitment practices.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic planning and decision-making abilities. Strong analytical and business development capabilities.
Experience
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Study Abroad Counseling, International Admissions, or Overseas Education Consulting.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of achieving enrollment, revenue, and team performance targets.
Preferred Destination Knowledge
Candidates should have strong working knowledge of at least five of the following destinations:
