We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Executive – Implementation to manage end-to-end payroll implementation for clients. The role involves understanding client payroll requirements, gathering and validating employee data, configuring payroll systems, conducting testing, ensuring statutory compliance setup, and supporting successful go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities
1.Payroll Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with clients to understand payroll policies and processes.Analyze salary structures, attendance policies, leave policies, shift policies, reimbursement structures, and statutory requirements.Document client-specific payroll rules, calculations, and compliance requirements.
2. Payroll System Configuration: Configure payroll software based on client requirements.
Set up salary components, earning and deduction heads, reimbursement structures, and payroll workflows.
Configure statutory components such as PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable compliances.
Configure leave, attendance, overtime, shift, and holiday policies within the payroll system.
Set up approval workflows and user access permissions.
3. Employee Data Migration &Validation: Collect employee master data and payroll inputs from clients. Validate employee information for completeness and accuracy. Perform data cleansing and formatting before migration.
Upload employee master data, salary structures, attendance records, leave balances, and historical payroll information.
Reconcile migrated data with source records.
4.Payroll Testing & Validation: Validation Execute payroll test runs and parallel payroll processing.Verify salary calculations, statutory deductions, arrears, incentives, reimbursements, and final payouts.Validate payroll reports, payslips, and compliance reports. Identify and resolve discrepancies during testing phases.
5. Client Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact during implementation projects.
Conduct client meetings to discuss project progress and implementation milestones.Provide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Address client concerns and implementation-related queries promptly. Build strong client relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle.
6. Documentation & Training: Training Prepare implementation documents, process flow documents, and user manuals.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions. Provide training to client HR and payroll teams on system usage.
Maintain implementation records and project documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies :Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.Good understanding of PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, and Gratuity.Knowledge of payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and salary structures. Understanding of payroll implementation methodologies.
Technical Skills
Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Validation).
Experience with payroll software implementation.
Knowledge of data migration and validation processes.
Ability to analyze payroll reports and reconcile payroll data.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Client handling and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Payroll certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
2–4 years of experience in Payroll Processing, Payroll Operations, Payroll Implementation, or HRMS Implementation.
Experience working with payroll software, HRMS platforms, or SaaS-based payroll
solutions.
Prior experience in client-facing implementation projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
