Role Description The Solar Design role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The team member will be responsible for designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, including layout planning, structural considerations, and component selection in line with project requirements and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, analyzing energy consumption data, preparing system sizing calculations, and creating detailed CAD drawings and technical documentation for proposals and installations. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and quality guidelines. The Solar Designer will also support continuous improvement by researching new technologies, optimizing system performance, and assisting with client presentations and design revisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for solar system layout and technical drawings.
- Strong Graphic Design and Graphics skills to create clear visual representations, diagrams, and project documentation.
- Ability to conduct thorough Research related to solar technologies, site conditions, regulatory norms, and industry best practices.
- Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, renewable energy, or a closely related field.
- Understanding of solar PV system components, electrical basics, and structural design considerations.
- Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, including on-grid and off-grid configurations, is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical data and standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on-site.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
