Job Summary
The Software Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and IT systems. The role includes managing software development teams, ensuring project delivery, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining software quality and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise software development projects.
- Lead and mentor software developers, testers, and IT staff.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of software projects within budget.
- Monitor software performance and resolve technical issues.
- Implement software quality assurance and testing procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers.
- Ensure data security, system reliability, and compliance with policies.
- Prepare project reports and present updates to management.
- Stay updated with new technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in software development or IT management.
- Experience in project management and team leadership preferred.
Skills Required
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge.
- Project management and leadership skills.
- Programming and database management knowledge.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and software quality standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
