Position: English Teacher
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and implement structured lesson plans as per the prescribed curriculum
Teach English Language and Literature (grammar, prose, poetry, writing skills) in an engaging and interactive manner
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
Use audio-visual aids, storytelling, and creative activities to enhance learning
Encourage activities like debates, essay writing, storytelling, and public speaking
Prepare study materials, assignments, and conduct regular assessments
Monitor and record students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Organize literary activities such as quizzes, elocution, drama, and competitions
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs
Eligibility Criteria
Proven experience as an English Teacher (preferred)
Strong command over spoken and written English
Sound knowledge of English grammar, literature, and curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Creative, energetic, and student-focused teaching approach
Strong moral values and professional discipline
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or related field
Mandatory Qualification: B.Ed / D.El.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
