This Artist plays a very significant role to meet all creative and technical challenges.
This person must be technically sound and must come with a vision to contribute in improving our pipeline. He should be keen in creating project specific CG work flow on the fly.
The candidate should be highly confident, disciplined, self-motivated and focused.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high end rigs with special emphasis on realistic facial and muscle system
- Build in-house rigging systems and specific tools to atomize the processes
- Maintain rigging flow and provide technical supports to other departments
- Plan and execute the project specific technical challenges in conjunction with project supervisor
- Independently analyse the scope of work for accurately biding man-days and execute it effectively
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in feature film/VFX/game cinematic production as a rigging artist
- Extensive Knowledge of Maya
- Proficiency in creating tools in Python and Mel
- Knowledge of mocap retargeting, Maya API, C++ skills are a plus
- Excellent understanding of current CG / VFX production pipelines from asset build to shot production
- Capable of creating CG work flows and to make timely, well-thought out decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a self-directed manner
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments
