The Data Entry Executive is responsible for accurately recording all purchase-related transactions into the accounting system. The role ensures timely updating of purchase invoices, GRNs, supplier bills, and other related documents while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter purchase invoices, delivery notes, GRNs, and supplier bills into the accounting software.
- Verify invoice details such as quantities, rates, GST, and total amounts.
- Cross-check purchase entries with purchase orders and material receipts.
- Maintain and update vendor records and purchase files.
- Assist in reconciling supplier statements with company records.
- Coordinate with the procurement and store departments for invoice clarifications.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all purchase-related documents.
- Support monthly closing activities by providing accurate purchase data.
- Follow internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
